I used this to add a 12 volt lead-acid battery to a homemade burglar alarm panel. The 2 supervision relays work as intended, but with one caveat: the battery is not truly supervised. It will not annunciate if the battery is low or disconnected under normal ac power conditions. It only indicates a low battery after it's already running on battery power (i.e., during a power outage). That's probably why it's not UL listed for fire alarm applications, and that's also why I only gave it 4 stars. If you're looking for a similar board that truly supervises and self-tests the battery, you might try ELK PRODUCTS ELKP212S SUPERVISED REMOTE POWER SUPPLY 12VDC instead, but for 3x the price. I'm fine with using this on a simple burglar panel since I can manually test the battery every few years. Bottom line: it seems like a robust circuit board, was affordable and worked well for my project. I'd consider using it again on my security cameras and access control, just not on anything life-safety. Mine has been in use for about 1 month.
