Fit was perfect for my 15 year old Kenmore HE3. Installation instructions were included and effective for the task. Took me about 45 minutes (including draining water) , but would probably have gone faster if I had a set of hose clamp pliers. Be sure to empty out any water remaining in the washer tub, and be prepared to catch the water remaining in the hoses and pump assembly. I unplugged the pump from the electrical connector, pulled the pump assembly out as far as I could, then removed the large clean out plug to empty the water into a bucket then removed the hoses to fully remove the pump. Draining was easier since mine is on the optional drawer/stand. The layout of the new pump assembly was identical in layout to the original. My old one was white with a black pump cover. The new one was all green. The kit included two sets of grommets for attaching the new assembly. The smaller set worked for my washer. Hopefully the new pump will last for the remainder of the life of the washer. Time will tell...
