It sounds weird to get excited about a power strip, but believe you me, I have tried many of them. This one is ten times better than all those chintzy "power bars" that are always getting tugged around and filling up.First of all, there is generous room on each of the outlets for even the most massive wall wart. Never again do you have to play "plug Tetris" (you know, "if I put _this_ wart at the end, then I can squeeze _that_ one in between here...").Secondly, while it's not huge or heavy, the Powramid a compact solid unit that will stay where you put it. Conventional power strips are always getting tipped over and tugged around by the cords attached to it; this one sits firmly on its base, which helps keep things neat. Finally, the switch on top has a nice plastic cover, so you don't have to worry about bumping it. Or you can leave the cover off for easy access to the switch -- your choice. Either way, the switch has a satisfying click and clearly visible light. Also, of course, it's cool looking, and it's well made, and not super spendy.
