Coming from the only other SOC I have being the Daizyujin/Megazord this toy absolutely lives up to the quality that one comes to expect from the Soul of Chogokin line. Its made out of plastic and diecast, in the majority of cases I agree with the design choices of where they applied the die cast.Articulation is really good and very pose-able despite the limits of the source design. Combining with a SOC Daizyujin/Megazord works fine, the weight on Dragonzord/Dragon Caesar is more spread so it doesn't want to fall over when attached. Just be careful, read the instructions as its possible to remove some paint particularly with the connection to the head horn of Megazord/Daizyujin if done improperly. The design is very nice looking, more shinier than what would be show accurate but forgivable since it looks nice. It will stand shorter than Megazord/Daizyujin but its taller than SOC Tyrannosaurus. The tail sticks out a lot so if you want it straight you will need some room. Only gripe about how it looks is the eyes often will seem hidden, you'll need proper light angle to get the eyes to show otherwise it often seems like its offline as its hidden by the helmet's shadows. You're given 2 crests, one for the mecha itself and another one for a more show accurate spear. The spear can be held in Fighting mode/Gouryuuzin form for somewhat show accurate poses something the other toys couldn't quite do. You're given 2 types of hands as well, one type which is its straight hands meant for its transformation and what you'd see on other Dragonzord/Dragon Caesar toys. The other hand is more of what it looks like during a fight scene and not straight and rigid, they look good although they have zero articulation which would've been nice.Overall its the toy of this mecha you always wanted. If there's a real negative, its only the price. Its expensive. SOC line toys are also not built in huge quantities, if its available and you can afford it its best to get it as soon as you can. Its unknown if it will ever get a re-issue.Just waiting for SOC Titanus/King Brachion now.
